An experiment

Good morning. This is the truly hopeless adventures of the nearly hopeless me. Already I'm starting to sound like a weirdo.

I bought this recorder because I have reached the crux of that conflict that plagues all packrats. That I can no longer find that stuff I thought would come in handy some day.

I have so much stuff I can't find it.

So I just spent money to replace a recorder that I know I have... Somewhere, out there

Every time I talk to Becky (my counselor), she says, when are you going to take care of yourself. Or when are you going to take better care of yourself, which sounds like my mother.

I found out.
Taking care of myself almost always means spending $100. I bought new eye makeup and eye cleaner and a new makeup kit and this recorder.
And some puzzle magazines so I wouldn't be bored.

And water. 6 20-ounce bottles of water, $2.50. Wait, do I get 20 ounces? No, I get 500 ml.
15.9 fluid ounces times 6 is 101 ounces. 101.4 ounces. Almost 2.5 cents an ounce. for water.

So this is May 31. Hopefully the last day of my imprisonment to glasses.

Missed the turnoff to 285 because it was already f-ing crowded. 4:15 and it's already way-way rush hour on Ashford Dunwoody Road.

I have to wash my eyes. I was supposed to wash my eyes two days ago, but I forgot all about looking at the paperwork. Which is just like me. So I have to wash my eyes now. Fortunately I'm not wearing eye makeup. It could be a lot worse.

...me taking paranoid muttering and turning it into an art form.

I'm so smart, it's a wonder they don't cut off my head. I left my cell phone at the Wal-Mart.

I get to the nail place and it's totally swamped. I start to wonder where the time has gone it's now 4:45. I have only 105 minutes to go back to Wal-Mart, recover my phone, get my nails done, and get to work.

I went to the Sonic for lunch today. I don't know why. I almost got shorted $5. The girl gave me $10 change out of a $20 bill, I had to remind her that the tab was only $4.50. She was very apologetic and gave me the extra $5. I tipped her $1.50 and she seemed really surprised.

I found another nail shop that wasn't as busy and got my nails done and out of the shopping center at 6 p.m.

I am amusing my customers today by going around in a long dress, light blue floppy hat and my manicured nails.

The first customers I delivered to had black hair and black t-shirts on, looking just like me (80's heavy metal punk) on a different day. It was funny.

Mark called me to ask if I would help clean the old apartment. He's been shanghai'd into doing it, because there was no one else available.

The dummy light is coming on in my car. I guess I need oil.
