Decisions, decisions

I'll have to get around to discussing what's happened since the hurricane, but at this point, (and since people have asked) it's like this:

I am working at Netherworld, the haunted house in the antiques mall on Dawson Blvd. (at the intersection with Graves), for my fifth year. You can get more information at http://www.fearworld.com

I will be staying with Janel polychromatic22 and her husband Chris whorlwind in Lithonia intermittently, since it is much closer to the haunted house than either Mark's house in Athens or my mother's house in Rome.

I am planning to go back to New Orleans to recover what belongings I can (and I'm not even sure I want all of them) on Friday, Oct. 7. I hope to be back by Sunday, Oct. 9, but it may be the 10th. I have spoken to my landlord and my (now former) boss and I am just about clear of New Orleans. I will have to get in touch with the people who have my mailbox, and the utility company, but that's about it.

Mark dosferatu wants me to stay with him, but he is graduating from college in December, so where we should go and what we will do for money and all that is pretty much up in the air. However, the official decision is that I will be here, in Georgia, until at least December, and then it pretty much depends on jobs. Mark and I have even talked about going back to New Orleans, although I don't know if I want to leave my family again (marroonfire! and fornorald, elorie, sapphire_d, etc.).

I feel like this is the only place I can express some of my feelings. I feel shy about it now.
