something hinky

something is off today. I took my full dose of SSRI in case the wonky feeling is a missed dose.

i'm hydrating, too, to mixed response... slight dizzy responses... like I had a hangover, but I don't think I get that from one shot of scotch.

right now, i've missed the intro to radio-free lunch on DaveFM and I am wondering what Ship of Fools (Robert Plant), something by Nirvana, and Stand and Deliver have in common. Now add Jumpin' Jack Flash.

The rain continues, and I am against that, too.

OK! It's a pirate thing. ships, theft, booty, alcohol, Jack Sparrow... apparently Nirvana got in because the song is "Come as You Arrgh!" eeyew!

I admit, although Mara's media-hype driven themes usually leave me cold (who cares what the American Idols are doing?), I want me some juicy, swashbuckling, romanticized, historically inaccurate and eyelinered, yummy pirates!

well, now I am pleasantly diverted.

on the up side

charlie spent some time chasing around some non-specific twinges I have been having and thinks they might be due to trying to quit smoking. I hope that means they stop.

scowling irritation

ok, I ate. I picked from the carb/sugar group, not my favorite, but usually comforting. Result? headache followed by mild heartburn, nausea, and gut twinges. then flushed feelings. nothing severe at all. nothing comfortable, though.

also, I need to write about Ken Lay, pick up party directions to Joe's, and write email to the x-hubby. i'm feeling a little out of focus, I guess.
