A deep and abiding need

Maybe it's paranoia, but not being willing to dope myself and dumb myself down for the purpose of shoehorning nicely into this crevice they've left for me has become vital to my identity.

I've bumped into too many things. Too many things are imposed upon me. Sanity, survival, whatever the reason, it's too damned crowded here. And this is for someone who used to love living IN the city.
