Well, I have finally got my taxes started. I will tell you what progress I make, if only to keep the pressure on myself. (Gently, squeeze GENTLY.)

Tom and Lacey's Tripp is here. He has huge eyes. He came by c-section, so no squishy head. That must be surprisingly like dying... go into the light.... Wouldn't that be neat? But the math doesn't work.

This ginger cat comes in my backyard like he lives here. Not flaming redhead ginger, dusty tawny ginger, but he prowls the yard looking for birds (they live in a thicket of overgrown azaleas) like he is the great Hunter. Might even be a she.

What was the name of that Chinese restaurant [livejournal.com profile] sapphire_d took me to last Friday? I just finished my dinner. I had pretty much filled up on appetizers Friday night, so I wasn't surprised I didn't eat much then. However, what I brought home provided dinner for my mom one night and two dinners and, finally, lunch just now for me. Just shrimp and noodles, but it only cost like $8 anyway.

I kind of half-watched "Lost" with Kate last night. I suppose I'll watch it with Charlie again. :)

Finally, I have agreed/allowed myself to be roped into doing Children's Activities at MWAS tomorrow. If there's no one to help me, this could get interesting, since that is not supposed to happen. I also do not know what I should do with the children themselves. I haven't spoken to my mother the last couple of days... If she does anything after work, she's beat by the time she gets home.

I have 9 or 10 vacuums here, (depending on whether I can count the one that's buried in the garage that I haven't tested) of all shapes and sizes. I have bagged and bagless, I have handheld and full-sized. I have several of the usual upright kind, and one of the kind where it trundles behind you while you just move the wand. I have two you apparently CARRY while using the wand to vacuum, and two of the "dust buster" style. Most importantly, 5 work fine, 3 seem like they need service, 1 doesn't work, apparently, at all. What I want to know is what kind of price range used vacuums go for. We cannot keep TEN vacuums. I can see one upstairs, one downstairs, one handheld. Hey, I may even take one for the car. But that still leaves, what, six? Fortunately, we can haz garage sale.

Wee paws....
