Damned plant sex

You got me.  I woke up with an itchy nose and a vague fuzzy feeling--I don't exactly have head full of cotton, it's more like it's lined with a nice soft baby blanket.  I guess the spring hayfever has caught up with me.

Finally, work is coming in.  I'm glad they waited until I had my mom's closet stuff up, but it's been worrisome waiting for the other shoe to drop all week long. 

Poor mommy.  She stayed up as late as she could--like a child, she made big promises of staying up all night, then collapsed about the same time I did, around 12:30.  She seems to have moved about 1/10 to 1/8 of her stuff back into the closet, and I think she's just now realizing what a mess she's made of it, as she looks at all the stuff that is supposed to be Going Back In!  She is learning why the Flylady says you cannot organize clutter.  I wish I could fix it for her, and I will try to help, but I have to take care of my own stuff that I've been putting off.   Damn, I'm just like her....

[Mumble-mumble... things to do... move that one shelf down and that other shelf over... oh yeah, and call the doctors....]

Now, I forgot what else I was going to talk about... must be getting old.  Oh yeah, there's work to do.
 

We're in charge!

Mom is packed and sent to work... then she's going off with her Red Hat Club (the Roman Goddesses, no kidding) for a weekend.  I wonder what Kate is doing this weekend?  Something, I know, because we had the garage sale last week (rather than this week) because of it.

I'm forbidden to play in the Rooms of Doom, but I can clean up any of the rest of the house that I want to.

Wait, I have the house to myself, and the first thing I think is, what can I clean?!?  OMG.

Where is my mad scientist icon?  Absolutely, need to get my Girl Genius on.

I just went into the kitchen and thought of the MOST evil thing ever.

I could remove/hide ALL the food with sugar in it.
