1. What size shoe do you wear?
7 1/2 or 8. I have wide feet, so it depends a lot on how the toes are made. If they're pointy, I wear an 8 and the last 3/4-1 inch of shoe is just an illusion.
2. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Um... 40 or 50? I haven't counted recently.
3. What type of shoe do you prefer (boots, sneakers, pumps, etc.)?
Boots are sexy and supporting. I put a lot of wear and stress on shoes, so little strappy sandals can't do it for me. But I hate ugly practical shoes.
4. Describe your favorite pair of shoes. Why are they your favorite?
Ah, that's a tough one. I have shoes that are iconic, now, epic, bigger than life. And I can't decide. I like the leather Mary Janes. And the canvas high-heeled Mary Janes. And then there's my combat boots that I've never broken in properly.... You know what? my favorite shoes, i don't have anymore, I wore them out and had to throw them away. They were these black suede boots, just over ankle high. The heel was spiked and very sexy, but the ankles were loose gathered material, just right for camouflaging my weirdly thick ankles. Very 80s style. If anyone finds any, call me, ok?
5. What's the most you've spent on one pair of shoes?
I know I will probably lose my shoe-o-phile rating here, but $159. The (aforementioned) iconic 5-inch spike-heeled, thigh-high, black, leather, fuck-me boots. But I did it twice.
