Wistful thinking

I just got "broken up with" by someone I'd been dating for 18 days because he didn't feel like I did. I could say about all my recent attempts with men that they were not looking for the kind of relationshihp I am looking for. Why am I picking the wrong kinds? It's got to be somewhere in me that I don't feel "right" around the kinds who want what I say I want. Or maybe I've been hanging around in the old drama pool too long.

You are a gift and a blessing, A-M, as is my whole family:

Janel and Chris, Mark and Heather, Wes, Sara and Droid and Raven, DeAnna and Cos and Caitlin (oooooh, simplysakka polychromatic22, whorlwind, dosferatu, marroonfire, dreadalus, elorie, fornorald, thewonderboy, aatea .... the only person left to get a livejournal is Costello ... and Caitlin when she gets old enough to write ... why does it make me so happy that so much of my family is on live journal?)

... and many others who are ... well, they're like in-laws, Eric and Amy and Richard and so many others that are connected. I like connected. Kitties are safe in the net. Maybe they're "in-loves" instead of "in-laws" ... brother-in-love... sister-in-love... I think I might like that, and someone will find a reason I shouldn't any minute now....
