First, thanks all my friends who wished me a happy birthday, here and elsewhere. Presents are still being accepted. :)

I want to hang out with people who do the kinds of things I want to do, so I can find out how or if I want to make my life more like theirs. I tried an experiment with that this weekend, and it went somewhat awkwardly. Ah well, nothing ventured...

I need to learn to be patient with myself, to practice, learn routines and relax into them.

I am trying to learn self hypnosis, in order to change some things that I feel unable to consciously manipulate within my own mind.

I keep meaning to do yoga, but I don't. I wonder why. Does anyone know an inexpensive class I might attend? (group support often helps my efforts)

I thought I would like to learn more about herbalism and possibly consider working for a pharmacy. Is that possible? How difficult is it?

I've been reading "The Prophet" again. It's a nice book of clues.

I saw "Pirates of the Caribbean" and Disney did a pretty good job with it. I liked it but I'd especially recommend it for kids around 10-14. Not too much nasty language, and lots of cool effects. Very little gore, a lot of "fantasy" violence (like the governor trying to subdue a detached, but aggressive, skeletal arm), and good, spooky thrills ("Ye better start believin' in ghost stories... Yer IN one!") make it just shivery without being too nightmarish.

Johnny Depp made a lovely pirate, Romantic, cute, devoted to his ship and his lifestyle, and swashbuckling... and insane. :) Of course next to the square Brits, anything looks appealing.

I wish Puck was home yet.

I liked my birthday. Who wants to help me shop for a pair of sunglasses to go with my other cool wear?

Happy belated birthday!!

I would have included you in my post but you didn't show up on my portal page. I'm sorry I relied on technology and forgot.

well, it did say "August Birthdays" -- I'm July 31, so it might not have been on your calendar.

Besides, I'm more interested in what can we do to make Puck's b-day memorable... and prankish. I owe him some irritation for missing my birthday. Well, ok, maybe I've already bugged him enough.

He had a good reason to miss yours. Got to defend him as my brother in that context. I am game, though, for fun and prankish though if you need my help. Maybe we can conspire on Tuesday. I could also use suggestions on a present.

I know he had a good reason. He keeps saying this. But I'm a Leo, and therefore, it's all about ME.

Can you believe that I am actually involved with TWO Leo's now?

*shakes my own head at myself*

Although they are ending up being some of the best OSO's I've ever had!!! *giggle*
