I want to write, I feel the need to write. I also feel the need to do spring cleaning. After all, it's right past Dragon*Con.
The day Dragon*Con started, my mother took me shopping. My mother took the day off to come see me. This has never ever happened before. I can't tell you how much it meant to me. We bought about $150 worth of stuff for me, a skirt, four shirts, two pair of shoes, earrings and a necklace.
Then someone broke in my car and stole my shopping bags, leaving me with one shirt, earrings and the skirt. I was wearing the shirt and earrings. Why they dumped the skirt, I don't know, but I was glad -- it was my favorite piece.
Then my mom put money in my bank account to get the window fixed. My mom is crazy that way. So, she spent $300 about, for the privilege of spending a day with me, but the thing I wanted/needed most was the time.
I've worked out a budget where I think I can send my mom at least $100 every 2 weeks.
