Today, I am packing to move to New Orleans. Since I will not have an apartment firmly for a while, I must pack a minimum to deal with until I can get paid. Of course, talking to my boss would help, too; I will try to give him a call tomorrow.
Meanwhile, since I have no rent money and have given my roommates notice, I have to get my stuff out of my room. I have cleared off the dresser, bookshelf and bed, now if I can rearrange enough stuff to make room to get them out of here, I should have help coming soon in that arena. Burnout and Joleigh again, the most reliable people among my friends.
And they've just called to say they're on their way, so, I must disassemble.

Date: 2003-12-28 04:49 pm (UTC)The goal tomorrow is to get the truck fully loaded and back to mom's, unloaded and returned to its rightful owner (easy part -- on the way out of town). Then I need to get back to Atlanta, so the essential part of the world needs a follow-up/ride-back from Rome, Ga., 75-90 miles away. The big furniture is already on the truck. Company to keep me on task is good, because I tend to squirm under pressure.
If none of these is on your list, wine, cider, soda, pizza and other such appropriate "Get the hell outta my town!" tokens are appreciated. ;-)
Kat, with its fur all floofed up
