Today, I have to say I'm proud of myself today and grateful to Wes. He got me up about 18 hours ago, and said, let's clean up some. I said, cool, I guess we should start with the bedroom, and I need to do laundry. We spent the next four hours sorting out all the clean laundry and throwing away just pounds and pounds of old clothing. It's such a relief to get rid of so much of it. Not just the actual bulk but the psychological mess of it... shoes and dresses I've had since our wedding... this or that skirt or pair of pants that never fit right in the first place, but should have 'looked so cute'...
I have one pair of 'fat pants' left and one pair of 'maybe if I hold my breath' jeans... we'll see which way the wind blows on that one.... but it's nice to find that most of my clothes are NOT horribly missized, as I guessed might be the case. I feel mentally and physically healthier for the most part.
But as usual, when one feeling of accomplishment shows up, a feeling of 'something else that needs to be done' follows along behind, usually with several buddies.
1. Pay the car payment.
2. Pay the credit card.
3. Pay the cell phone.
4. Assemble all makeup and get rid of the old stuff.
5. Finish the laundry.
6. Fold and sort the linens.
7. Clean out the car.
8. Return the LOTR DVDs.
9. Write the letter to the arslanta group.
