What I want, what I'd really like...

... would be if I could get an environment set up for myself in Chris and Janel's house before I got there. That same sort of clean feeling you get checking into a nice hotel room with all of your vacation ahead. Plenty of room and shelves for everything and nice pictures on the wall.

Instead of a pile of boxes in the middle of the room, furniture crammed against the wall and pictures? They can go in the closet until later... maybe one day...

So, I'm starting to make a list. The commode will have to perform as altar table, and would even be good for it, having its entire body available as storage room... I should get some shoe boxes or similar to keep things organized inside.

If I can get my seven-foot couch-of-death upstairs, I would have a bed, since it is a fold-out. That would be a good thing.

I've found out I can fit most of my clothes into two small sets of drawers, and the hanging clothes take up less than an average closet now, instead of bulking out two and a half full-length closet bars. And I can probably move those two sets of drawers in my car if I take everything out and put the back seats down.

Pictures: the nude. It goes with me, I think. The Wedding of Titania and Oberon, definitely, and it would even look good against the paint. Shelves at strategic points for my angel and gargoyle, equal and opposite guardians.

In a chair, at my computer desk, in my ex-husband's house, less than a mile from the interstate as the crow flies, in Acworth, Ga., USA, Planet Earth, Sol system, Milky Way Galaxy....

3:59 p.m.

3. What are you wearing?
Blue jeans, stained with red ink. Tracy Chapman concert roadie t-shirt. Whitish sneakers that are weird because they zip. Watch that has color-changing face ("mood" watch) and silver band and numbers. A silver pentacle ring, several earrings. Another silver ring my sister gave me for Christmas. A gray sports top under the t-shirt. No socks. No panties. Thank you for asking.

4. Any people or animals around you? Describe them.
This dog. 24 lbs of insanity, half miniature pinscher, half cocker spaniel. All dumb. She should be dead, but she's too dumb to even do that.

5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Huh? I know I'm supposed to have some, but I forgot. Probably try to get time with fornorald or dosferatu and see Radu. I have work tonight and Sunday.
