I always have too much to do. So much that I say, I don't have time for a journal entry. Well, that's one thing that needs to go on my daily routines, updating my journal. I love having you guys around. Having my friends as an audience (and a few odd strangers) gives me a way to think about how I present things, what details are necessary.
But in the end, it's about what I want to know, and remember.
I used the "Detect Music" button for the first time today. Because I got my music library up and running. Now, I still have to rip about 100 CDs that I personally own, plus going over great GOBS of music to figure out which are of quality and which suck (I deleted the ICP downloads, sorry, call me a fogie, but it's just too angry, violent and cursy sounding.)
If anyone knows any good quality computer accessories, let me know. I tried to put a cheap USB hub on this laptop and it caused all kinds of... well, it just didn't work out well. But, I have two USB connections on this computer and I have the following to connect:
External hard Drive
Keyboard
Flatbed scanner
Mouse
Palm sync cradle
Card reader
Laptop fan
In theory, I would connect the fan (which has an additional port) and the keyboard (which has two additional ports) then daisy-chain the mouse to the keyboard, and the hub to the fan, and put the drive, scanner, sync and card reader on the hub. No effing way, man. Wayyyyyyy too ambitious.
okay, show is starting. More later.... (I keep SAYING that!)
