The man is dead. He died disgraced. He died with the world thoroughly convinced he wore the black hat. I ain't saying he didn't. But for frigga's sake, people, isn't that supposed to be the end of the story?
I have heard so many people say that a) Ken Lay isn't really dead b) Ken Lay has cheated by not having to rot in jail c) Ken Lay has cheated by not having to give up all of his money, and other such vitriol, that I'm convinced that people's standards of justice are somewhat warped, i.e. ruled by their emotions, and not fair, just, or reasonable in any way.
It's this sort of thinking that gets me in arguments, and kicked off of mailing lists, so I'll just drop that here.
