I bought the Forearm Forklift straps. I made a reservation with U-Haul for next Friday. I checked the route to make sure we would come in under mileage requirements. I called a friend about helping. I discussed the matter with Charlie.
They took out the old cutting board and put in a nice shiny new piece of wood. Unfinished. Weird. They exchanged the very dented door for a moderately dented door with very beaten up paint and promised to repaint it. They haven't done that yet. They haven't sent anyone to touch up the interior paint.
They did replace the smoke detector and put down new linoleum, which thing improves the look of the kitchen greatly.
I already asked the next door neighbor to turn down their music today. Their apartment shares no walls with mine, so it was pretty loud. It was a teenager, so, there you go, I guess.
