Brief update

I bought a voice recorder with my birthday money so I could keep up with what is going on in SCA.  I think my membership may have expired.  I need to renew it.  (August already?  where does the time go?)

I still have no money for clothes, although my mood is improving, I might be able to do something with sewing.

I keep thinking I have something to say, and then I come up with this blather.

I may, if I'm a good girl and finish my work, get to go to www.vermontmustardcompany.com/ tomorrow.

This is quite interesting--because it's solid information, apparently written by a non-English speaker.  I'm guessing, but I would like to know the origin.

As an "English major," I naturally cringe at poor use of language.  And I admit to a bias against it.  The "You Know What I Mean" school of thought and I can barely stay civil through an entire evening.

But we were talking about hypotension earlier, and it provoked me to google "rehydrate yourself."    This came up, and I'd recommend this to almost any one under any circumstance for hydration--Not ONLY for the reason mentioned.  Basically, it's a crude Ringer's solution, made bland as possible (lukewarm) so as to cause the least disturbance to the stressed system.  (Halley, if you faint, and the EMS comes to you, they'll put something like this in your arm.)

Oooh,
[livejournal.com profile] nausved , I forgot.  Did we go over the idea of overwatering?  You can actually drink too much water and just keep flushing your system out.  Have you tried drinking *only* unsweetened herbal tea, for example?  That seems so obvious, but I couldn't remember if it had been eliminated.
