It's morning in Alabama. I drove here last night (Huntsville) to attend the Rocket City Fur Meet. I've never been to a furry con before, and my friends think I'm weird for coming. But I've been "furry" (roleplaying an anthropomorphic animal character) since 1990 or so, and I thought it was high time I found out who my peers are.

krag_carbine at the Radisson. I got here too late last night (9 p.m. local!) to do anything; registration and con suite were closed, and all of the events for the day were over except for 2's "rant." Apparently, he's a gay furry stand-up comedian. He was pretty funny, I admit.
Otherwise, I would have to say that my first impression is that furries, in general, suffer from a crying need for hair-care products. Perhaps it's those big costume heads.
