Missed a day

If you miss a day, you miss a lot. I was more of an audience (than a participator) to an interesting day yesterday, so much so that I was surprised to discover I didn't post anything. Well, this may take some thinking about, anyway.

On the other hand, the ice cream maker, and the ice cream recipe, worked really wonderfully. We'll probably have to do it again in the near future.

I was disappointed to find out Elaine couldn't have any of our peach ice cream. Charlie is already thinking up adventurous things like orange sorbet with chocolate and mint julep.

We're going to need another ice cream maker.

i'd have definatly waded into the fields of distress called lactose intolerance to just taste the creamy goodness that is homemade ice cream. maybe one day i will be have the fortunate agony *hopeful smile*

i'd love to - but it doesn't work that well for me and i don't know why.

its a very distinct pain. i know where the lactose is in my system. literally by following the...for lack of a better word...contractions.

lactaid and the likes (i've tried othes, OTC and non, name brand and generic, all with the same results) - well, the pain is still there and usually just as bad as it would be without. when a new one comes about, i try it in hopes that it will work.
