Update

So, I finally got her cute face!  She wandered around the "public" end of the house, I tempted her with gushy food under the couch, and she's decided that curled up in the tail of my bathrobe under my desk chair is where she wants to be right now. Just like Eeyore said, a few minutes after I stopped messing with her, she came out to see what had taken my attention away and seems to want to stay close by now...

OMG look at that pink nose! She really is adorable.

I remember when we first got Boris. He was a rescue kitty from outside. As long as he had access to his "house" (the cat carrier we brought him home in) or a place he could hide under (particularly the small built in shelves we have on the sides of the couch), he would come out and explore. Eventually he got to where he didn't need those spots anymore and just took over the house.

Although it does seem like you have officially been claimed. :-)

She's 2-3 months at a guess. My friend's mom said the vet said (yes, that makes this 3rd hand) 6-8 weeks, but she's long of limb and quite assertive for all that. Still very young, but no babyish creeping and her teeth appear to be all in.
