I have the job application, and I'm working on it, but it's much more daunting than most I've filled out. (Except UPS -- fingerprints and school transcripts, Oh My.) I've always CLAIMED I could handle confidential information and other sensitive transmissions, but it's not often I've been checked on to this extent for that purpose.
I'm surprised to find that I'm still on the original track. A little delayed due to the extension, but still, I have finished the CareerStep program, and I am mostly through the application to MedQuist, which is going well enough to believe that I should be able to get a job there. This was the plan, it's still the plan, and so far it's working. Why isn't this fun? Why am I so nervous?
Dilly is doing just fine. Except for a naked, skinny tummy, she looks just the same. She's eating more this morning. She came out of the box right away last night, went back to her old haunts... I consider it a good sign that she hasn't been hiding from us, although she's (as expected) a little skittish about being grabbed and moves away if we reach out a hand.
