I am @ jury duty. We check in and wait for judges to tell us what to do. I have institutional coffee, quiz show podcast and book abt NOLA prostitutes.

Hey...having that book on NOLA fallen women could be grounds for discharge without service. Don't let them see it in voire dire...;-}

Or do let them see it, if you're not in the mood for JD. I always tell them I hate abortion and divorce, love guns with a passion, support the death penalty, and listen to Neil Boortz regularly. Gets me outta there real quick every time.

You know, I tried doing something along those lines myself last year. I told them I was a paralegal, a fraud investigator, had been a bill collector, considered myself a conservative and listened to Boortz, Hannity and sometimes even Savage (yeah, the did ask...)and damned if I wasn't the first one chosen. Of course the Defense Attorneys were two PD pool wonders and the Prosecutor looked like Fred McMurray and had to try really really hard not to laugh at the counsel at the other table throughout the trial.
