I went to bed early, for me, at the kids' house by 11:15, asleep before midnight, woke up at 7 by the alarm clock, and hated it, dragged around the house like a dead thing.
Dropped Jonathan off at school at 7:50, both of us tired, him with a ziploc stuffed fat with Goldfish. He was wearing shorts, it was so warm. It wasn't raining, but so foggy I needed the windshield wipers on to see anyway.
After spending over $40 and having no luck, I am doing something totally insane: I have put my leather coat and silk jacket in the washing machine. The cat decided to pee in them. (Toby? BB? I don't know. My cats are neurotic.) The dry cleaners (three of them so far) said they could do nothing. So I loaded them up with Febreze, upholstery cleaner and special pet-stain remover and put them in the washing machine. I can't wear them like they are, so if they get ruined, I haven't really lost anything.
I have gotten most of my clothes over to Becky's house, so I am going to spend an hour or so packing up all my makeup and toiletries. Hopefully I will sort them out tonight after the kids go to bed. I think by the end of this week I may be able to see the floor in my room again.... and, positive thinker that I am, all I will see is the need to sweep and mop.
