What are good people like?

Everyone used to say my dad was a good man, and I was proud of that. The people I call my "good" friends are people that I think are good, in addition to enjoying their company.

What kind of people make you think, "that's a good person"? What do good people act like? Do you make it a point to be good or spend time with people you think are good?

I know there are all kinds of people on here. Do we have any areas of consensus?
