Ok, my new car is a 1996 Saturn SW1 station wagon, silver, with practically no options. No cruise control, no auto-locks. It runs very well, has only 39,000 miles on it and is clean as a whistle. I installed a cd player in it, and I'm really enjoying that. But I don't know what to call it. So, I'm asking for advice.

Saturn doesn't make many girls, unfortunately. They're sexist. My '95 is a boy...

My two Saturns have been females. The '94 SL2 was Susanna (replaced my '93 Grand Prix named Sophie), and I think the '00 SL2 is Alanis (replaced Susanna). My '88 Aerostar van is named "the van" for lack of a better name. It works.

I almost bought a SW2 when I got the first SL2. Wanted cargo capacity for my computer buying habit. Unfortunately I had a very fixed budget from a stock sale, and the SW2 before tax and expenses was about $2000 too high, The '94 SL2 lasted me something like two years, but when it approached 100k miles and I approached being ready to replace the stereo, I went in for the '00. I got it the day I got my offer for my current job... I'd been notified of my layoff from the old job (which I'd requested) and hadn't heard about the new job until I got home with the car. Good timing, eh?
